The members of the company consists of Neville Aylward who has been with the company since 1977, Ian Jones and Vernon Pillay who has been with the company since 1992, Adele Jones and Renee Kenward who has been with the company since 1993. All members are actively involved with the day-to-day operations of the company and are committed in maintaining our reputation for supplying the highest quality armature winding service in the industry

The work force, which stands at 38, consists of Management, Clerks, Skilled Artisans, Winders and Labours. Our technical personal is qualified and has a vast knowledge and experience in their respective fields. All personal are dedicated and understand that the products and services provided are of utmost importance to the company's continued well being. They also pride themselves in building a reputation of quality, reliability and excellent service to our customers - No job is too small or too big.

Our scope of work covers rewinding, servicing and overhauling of AC and DC Motors, Welding Machines, Transformers and Alternators, as well as Mechanical work. We also specialize in Marine Maintenance, refurbishments and installations. This is carried out on site or in our fully equipped workshop with the usual essential items (i.e.: Overhead Cranes, Ovens, Winding Machines, Varnish Tanks and Test Panels - We are in the process of extending our workshop to accommodate a VPI System with a 2 meter diameter tank). All machining and turning work is done in-house on two lathes, a milling machine and a slotting machine.

Sales of new and reconditioned AC and DC Motors, Welding Machines, Transformers and Alternators are done by our buying department. The company is proud to be associated with Siemens and have become agents with the Siemens Automation and Drives division with a fully equipped storeroom on our premises. The company is also agents for Alstom Alternators and carries a large stock of new Powertrim electric motors manufactured by Alstom. Designated areas for the new and reconditioned motors are also stored on the premises as well as a separate storeroom where large stocks of spares are stored.

The company offers a 24 hour service. To ensure this, all standby staff carries cellular phones. Two heavy-duty vehicles, one with 3,5 ton crane and three light delivery vehicles are available for collection and delivery on a daily basis including weekends

The company is the holder of the SABS 314 Flameproof certification mark, the SABS 970 Non-Sparking certification mark and the SABS 969 certification mark and has at least one registered inspector in it's employment.

We are also SABS ISO 9001:2000 compliant and have a Quality Management System in place to further ensure continual improvement of our company, our quality of work and our service to our customers. In addition to this the company complies with the Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and is also a member of the Engineering Forum.
